Best child reference book ever

I'd heard of Dr. Brazleton before I was even pregnant, from a neighbor who teaches child development.  She loved his books, but hadn't seen them in a long time.  So I was *very* delighted to come across Touchpoints: Birth to 3 on sale at Powell's for $9 yesterday.  Seriously, ten minutes of reading this book did more for my understanding of the Peach than ten months of reading everything else out there.  Wonderful stuff.   The Google link lets you browse quite a bit.

Sounds good! I don't know, I sort of have a policy of blissful ignorance. I like to know nothing about what I'm doing as a parent. Ignorance is bliss?

I got the Baby Book by Dr. Sears a few months ago. It's great, but I've been looking for another book as well. I took your advice and got Touchpoints yesterday. I love it so far!
